It is a document that has existed since the 19th century and with all the advances in technology, it has also been updated and its format has also undergone an update and is now also available in digital format.
What is the digital work card app?
The digital CTPS is the same work card from the 19th century but in digital format, an updated version of the printed document that everyone knows. It is possible to consult your work card in just a few simple steps using your cell phone and check various information such as employment contracts, jobs, salaries and much more.
Few people know but the new version of the work card, fully digitized, has been in force, that is, it has been in full operation since January 2015, but it was only from November 2017 that it became available in the form of an application for devices with Android or iOS operating system.
The Ministry of Labor had a brilliant initiative to modernize manual work and time-consuming and outdated labor procedures, in this way, the digital work card has made it much easier and helped a lot in the lives of workers and employers throughout Brazil.
Is the digital work card app safe?
Completely safe, developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Labor itself, the digital CTPS aims to facilitate and guarantee information security, as well as automate processes through data analysis, without having to depend on the archaic printed model.
Currently, when a Brazilian citizen requests a digital work card, all the information and data of this worker are automatically registered in secure government databases and then the updated document is issued, making the appointment online, the in-person procedure usually lasts less than 30 minutes.
Does the digital work card app replace the paper work card?
The Ministry of Labor's proposal is to update it gradually and at the moment, it will not completely replace the classic paper work card. Especially because many people still do not have a cell phone, internet access and for several other structural reasons.

As soon as you complete this search procedure, the Digital Work Card application will appear, just install the app and open it in the cell phone's application section.
The next step is to enter the cidadao.br or Sine Fácil password and log in. If you do not have a registered password, you must register on the government website. It is possible to access the digital work card without installing any application, just accessing the government website, through the computer's internet browser, entering the requested data and confirming.

The advantages of the digital work card are great because in various situations in life information about the card is required, quick consultations and through this fact, with the digital card in the palm of your hand in an application on your cell phone, with a few clicks you can access to everything, without the need to carry a paper wallet.
